Q1: Is OTHM diploma recognized in India?
A: OTHM is UK-government regulated (Ofqual). While it’s not directly recognized by UGC/AICTE for government jobs in India, it’s accepted for university admissions in UK/Europe and by most private sector employers.
A: OTHM itself doesn’t give you work rights. However, if you use it to transfer to a UK university and complete your degree, you’ll get a 2-year post-study work visa.
A: No problem! Your OTHM diploma is valuable on its own. You can work in Dubai (if you get sponsorship) or use it for jobs in Gulf countries. It’s also accepted in many Asian and African countries.
A: Student visa allows part-time work (20-25 hrs/week). Full-time work requires employer sponsorship and conversion to work visa.
A: 3-4 weeks typically for UAE student visa.
